Concierge Program: Relax-Remodel - Meet the Staging & Design Team
We made a strategic decision to "go small to go big" in regards to our staging business in 2020. We took a little break and slowed things down. Quietly and slowly, we started analyzing the business opportunity, decided on the signature style, and who our ideal client is. Over the past year we've been slowly and naturally growing our design team and we're beyond excited with the quality and quantity of work we've been able to provide.
MEET THE TEAM! (in order of individual photos)
Aubrey Prater: Aubrey has been a part of the team for 1 year and has been such an asset. She keeps us up to date on "what's not a thing anymore".... She also has a natural ability and talent to design a room and to also keep our warehouse organized and categorized. She graduated Arlington High School in 2020 and is enrolled in Everett Community College. I know she is going to do great things and we're so happy to have her as a part of our crew. (she's also our niece). :)
Melissa Overbeck: Owner & Dreamer! She started staging homes 5 years ago after 1 year of working as a real estate buyer's agent. Working with buyers helped her understand exactly what their wants/needs are when viewing homes. With 15 years of design experience prior to becoming a real estate agent, she blends the strategy of real estate and the art of picking up on subtle trends to help design a fresh modern space with wide appeal.
Kristin Foster: Lead Stager & Project Manager! This is a new role for our business and we're so thrilled to have Kristin on board. She's actually Melissa's childhood BFF! Kristin has always had a passion for interior design, studied at Bellevue Community College in their interior design program and has a vast understanding of design as well as construction, project management, and city planning. In this role, Kristin will also be managing the Beach & Boulevard Relax-Remodel program. You may even see some original art pieces from her pop up on our staging projects.
Nina Hong: Nina has been so supportive the whole time that we have been rebuilding our business. She's helped behind the scenes on business development and planning as well as design work on a project by project basis. Nina has an amazing career history in the corporate fashion world in New York and Seattle. As a Momma of a little guy at home, she's been able to navigate her perfect work-life balance by being mostly home with him and joining us on projects.
As we grow, we'll have more opportunities for freelance designers/stagers. Let us know if you're interested in joining the team.
