Here are our favorite Things-To-Do on Camano (and nearby)!  Of course please check out our boutique store when you're here - The Camano Shop! We opened the Camano Shop in November 2021. It has been such a source of community and really allowed us to get to know so many people around the Camano/Stanwood area! We sell clothes, home goods, gifts, and vintage finds.
Addres is: 913 Hwy 532, Camano Island, WA 98282 It's the White farmhouse next door to Camano Marine.

Check out the Public Beaches & Hikes:
Cama Beach and Cranberry Lake hike
Camano Island State Park
Iverson Spit Preserve (Hobbit Trail) - very easy/ beginner level hikes next to the beach
English Boom (easy level)
Barnum Point (has several different trails)

EAT:
Brunch at Cama Beach Cafe
You can make a reservation on OpenTable.  The food is great, and they have freshly made pastries!  Afterwards hike down to the beach, or book one of the cabins.

Blue Heron is our favorite restaurant for dinner. Reservations recommended.

No shortage of drive-thru COFFEE stands!
Check out:
Locals, Coastal Vie, Shipwreck, and Camano Island Coffee

There is a bakery/ice cream, shop, and art upstairs.
Lots of food options! Tapped Camano is our favorite place for small plates, beer, and outdoor seating. Try the crab roll.
Tapped also opened up a BBQ place next door called Primal

For plants check out Cactus & Co (upstairs from Primal).
You can charge your Tesla at the Windermere office there.  The Camano Shop also has 2 Tesla chargers in the back parking lot you can use.

Freedom Park is located next door to The Commons and has a great playground and space for kids to run around.

Stanwood downtown has shopping & restaurants too.  We will do a more robust blog post for Stanwood later, but here are some suggestions:
Stanwood:
Breakfast - Stanwood Diner or Farmers.
Lunch - Cookie Mill (good salads, sandwiches, cookies & coffee drinks)
Shima for sushi/ Japanese food
Happy Teriyaki for teriyaki, Bento boxes, sushi, and some Korean dishes.
For pizza & pasa try Jimmy's. I like the combo spaghetti + ribs.
Patini's Grill has some good food, go early and grab a booth.
There is also a drive-thru Taco Time.
The older movie theater has several restaurants too (Pat Thais, Amigos and Dragon Palace).

Stanwood has a nice little downtown area, park by Mustard Seed Bakery and shop the stores on that street.

Angel of the Winds Casino has several restaurants, a nice steakhouse Whiskey Prime (kind of pricey) and Strikerz - a new bowling alley (kid-friendly).

Day Trip ideas:
La Conner has many shops, restaurants and art studios. The Rainbow bridge makes for a nice photo.
Check out the Museum of Northwest Art (MONA)
Calico Cupboard is great for brunch/lunch.
For a fancy dinner try Nell Thorn

Whidbey Island
Anacortes - whale watching
